As a church we are going to kick of the year reading 1 John. I’ve chosen 1 John for a few reasons; it’s short, concise and fits with God’s call for us to “mature”. I am hoping it will help us grow in our biblical literacy and reading of the Bible personally. Consequently I have tried to “set out” this study in a way that will grow your ability to read the Bible and “hear from God” for yourself.
